Complete NO References Transcriber Unit Typing Test
Complete MTPractice Training BUT WITHOUT Supplemental Reference Books shown or Certificate:
Question: Why on earth would someone want a training course but WITHOUT supplemental reference books or a Certificate?
Answer: Students who wish to further their knowledge and skills in Medical Transcription but may already have reference books they wish to consult (i.e., Nurses, Unit Secretaries); OR perhaps current MTs who are locked into one work type with their employer (Hospitals often do this) and who may also already have access to or own a comprehensive MT library, yet who have no desire/need for a certificate, etc. would be interested in this ordering option. THIS OPTION DOES, HOWEVER, INCLUDE THE MTPRACTICE REFERENCE GUIDE AND THE TRANSCRIBER ALONG WITH ALL TRAINING MODULES AND THEIR CASSETTES. THE STUDENT IS NOT TESTED FOR COMPETENCY IN THIS ORDERING OPTION.
This is everything EXCEPT FOR THE CERTIFICATE OR SUPPLEMENTAL MEDICAL REFERENCE BOOKS: This takes the student from A to Z in transcription WITHOUT THE NEED FOR TESTING OR CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE. This will cover all of the work types and give all dictation work type practice. The MTPractice modules were created as an affordable, accelerated study, job specific, self-guided, self-contained correspondence training to be completed in five (5) months (or LESS) when administered in their entirety (learning all modules), combined total instruction and transcription time. Of course, the modules may also be studied individually as a job-advancement aid and are used by experienced transcriptionists seeking job upgrading/advancement training by learning additional report types. MTPractice will consider the student purchasing this option as an 'independent study student' under this purchase/education option.
Your Panasonic transcriber and foot pedal, and supplied Panasonic headset are in the box shown and ARE INCLUDED in this No. References Course option.

This is an exceptional reference and one you may choose to refer to again and again. All Seven Training Modules (each shown above with their accompanying diskette): H&P, Consultations, Ops & Procedure Notes, Discharge Summaries & Psychiatric Practice, Basic Medical Records; Tests, Biopsies, & Studies; and Productivity Modules. All of the modules noted have a total of 324 dictated reports; actual dictation length 23 hours which equates to 69 hours of hands-on practice transcription time. AND The Transcriber Unit - The brand-new Panasonic RR-830 standard size cassette model (subject to supplier's continued availability-in which case, substitution of a comparable model is reserved) which includes the standard manufacturer's warranty, and includes the headset and foot pedal.
